VertiCube HiCoat Booth– “The Floating Powder Cloud”
A constant film thickness distribution and high material savings are the two main advantages ot the new powder booth from WAGNER, the VertiCube. Due to its horizontal conduction of the air flow in the booth, an additional penetration can be achieved with less powder and less air. VertiCube at Kettler

Beschichtung von Fitnessgeräten in der VertiCube The new WAGNER VertiCube is an innovative powder coating conception which improves the vertical film thickness distribution and minimizes powder consumption for products that enable the air to flow around it (no large-area products). VertiCube is the only powder booth on the market, which works with horizontal airstream instead of the common downdraft suction. The principle of a vertical suction duct is not a new concept, but in combination with the perfect suction openings, WAGNER created the first booth that brings the powder into balance with gravity forces, and draws the powder horizontally through the work pieces and provides perfect coating results. Coating of fitness equipement.

Technology: Unlike other booth constructions, the VertiCube uses a vertical suction duct built inside the side walls opposite from the gun slots. The suction openings are vertically arranged small openings an the front panel of the duct. The combination of a vertical duct with a horizontal duct allows easy cleaning and fast color changes. The VertiCube is used in combination with HiCoat-C4 guns and works at its best with HiCoat-ED. The VertiCube HiCoat booth is a further milestone in the Wagner’s HiCoat concept.

Benefits:

  • Reduction of powder overspray
  • Consistent film thickness over the whole work piece via a horizontal airstream
  • Avoids over coating of the lower work piece areas.
  • Creates a higher first path transfer efficiency on the work piece
  • Material savings and less waste in the final filter (cyclone systems)
  • Fast color change
